As an embedded engineer you will take ownership of high-stakes projects from day one. You will be a key part of our software team and grow your skills while developing innovative solutions. Your contributions will help to maintain our market position as the world leader in smart lighting and shading systems.  By working in a collaborative environment, you will be exposed to, and trained by, industry experts who will aid in your professional development.   


Responsibilities


You will be responsible for many phases of the product development process, including:

  • Software review meetings
  • Requirements gathering and estimating features for the next release
  • Pair programming
  • Software review meetings
  • Demoing the latest features to stakeholders

You will have the opportunity to contribute to the design and development of consumer products that will end up directly in the hands of our end users. There are a variety of technologies throughout the product lifecycle that you could be involved with from day one, including:

  • Microcontroller programming
  • Real time operating systems (RTOS)
  • Protocol design and architecture (Wi-Fi, Ethernet, ZigBee)
  • Exposure to programming languages like C, C++, Python, and Golang

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science
  • Minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • 0-3 years’ experience in a related field
