We are looking for you as Embedded Firmware Developer (m/f/x) at the earliest possible date for our Headquarters in Fulda, Germany or fully remote in Europe (with at least 6h overlap with CET 9-5 (9:00-17:00) working hours.

In the Embedded Firmware team, we build the software that powers devices which connect to a modern analytics and visualization platform, collecting data from industrial machinery all around the globe.

Your Role

    You build and maintain firmware for our devices in a continuous integration driven environment with devices-in-the-loop

    You create and maintain tooling and automation (Cucumber tests, chatops, CI, etc.) to ensure consistent and low-friction operations and releases

    You are proud to call yourself a generalist, or jack-of-all-trades

Your Skills

    Fluent software development in embedded systems (FreeRTOS), C programming language and surrounding tools

    Focus on high-quality and maintainable code in a brownfield environment

    You already have experience with CAN bus

    You are pragmatic and take responsibility for your work

    Experience with, or desire to assess, trial and adopt DevOps/DevSecOps best practices (i.e. Continuous Integration, Static Code Analysis, Shifting Left, etc.)

    You are familiar with at least one of Python, Node.js, Go

    You have fluent communication skills in English, German is nice to have
