What awaits you at Mynaric

• Your major role is to support in the highly reliable embedded software development for our new satellite terminal.
• Design of complex embedded software for single chip digital systems are also part of your task.
• You are responsible for advanced software development for softcore processors and SoCs.
• Migration of high-level software code (PowerPc) and low-level microcontroller code into single chip solutions (softcore processors or SoCs).
• Implementation and verification of designs.
• Technical documentation.

What you bring with you

• You have successfully completed your BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar.
• You have 5+ years of experience in embedded software development.
• Experience in complex software architecture for bare-metal applications.
• You have very good knowledge in C as well as C++.
• Ideally, you have experience with softcore processors (like MicroBlaze).
• Preferably you have experience programming and testing high reliability, safety critical, and fault tolerant systems.
• You are familiar with common electronic components and comfortable reading circuit design schematics and contributing to hardware design discussions is a great plus.
• Hardware debug experience, including familiarity with tools such as the oscilloscope, logic analyzer, protocol analyzer (SPI, CAN, Ethernet or similar).
• Good written and spoken English communication skills.
